The branch owns a nine-frame radial extractor which you can hire at £3 a day and many new beekeepers hired the extractor for a day to extract one or two supers only to find, well, cleaning it is a very tiresome task...
Again this year you can bring your supers to the Apiary Manager's house and extract them, no mess, helpful advice, loads of tea and all it will cost you is your cappings.
If you can't make today then this event tends to drift over a whole week, clean-up day is Sanday 11 August SHARP.
PS
Bring your supers and a tub to put your honey in.
From Hagley Railway Station head over the bridge and take the first left (sweetpool Lane) and then second right (Hoarestone).
