Kevin Thorn is a Beefarmer with 140 hives in and around Lavenham, Suffolk.

He is passionate about improving his bees to be calm, healthy and productive and is working to educate beekeepers in this area. He and his wife Julie run Stour Valley Apiaries and Busy Bees Cosmetics . Kevin is also Chair of West Suffolk Beekeepers.

He has established a bee Improvement group at Abberton Reservoir in Essex working with local beekeepers, Colchester BKA, Essex and Suffolk Water and Essex Wildlife Trust to reintroduce the native black bee to the area.

THE VENUE IS New Road Methodist Church

Join the Stourbridge ring road and look out for the signpost for Kidderminster A451 on the overhead gantry and Aldi on your right.

The entrance to the Methodist Church is on your left by the sign for the A451 Kidderminster and the turning is at the very start of the slip road to the A451.

DO NOT park on Aldi's car park, you will be fined or locked in or both. There are a limited number of parking spaces directly outside the church hall.
