It's important to pay your membership late in the preceding year because then you are fully covered by disease insurance and public liability insurance for the whole of the next season. Membership of Hagley & Stourbridge Beekeepers' Association is divided into four options:
This class of membership is designed for people who keep bees and the fee is made up of BBKA membership £21.00 County capitation fee £2.00, Bee Disease Insurance £2.00 and Branch membership of £6.00 and lasts for the whole year.
With Full Membership is Bee Insurance and the policy covers up to three of your hives against destruction because of disease. In addition the policy carries public liability cover to the value of £10,000,000. If you keep more than three hives then consider increasing your cover by paying additional premiums which are detailed on the membership form.
Junior membership is for beekeepers under the age of eighteen and is exactly like Full Membership and costs £11.50. This fee is made up of BBKA membership £9.50 and Bee Disease Insurance £2.00. Please note that addition premiums apply for over three hives.
Full Associate Membership is for beekeepers with no bees who want to enjoy all the benefits of branch membership and is made up from BBKA membership £10.00 and Branch membership £2.00.
If you have chosen option 1 or 3, do you want a relation to be a Family Member and take advantage of our various meetings for just £1.00.
